Pharmaceutical sales up 19% in the quarter

Johnson & Johnson 1Q Revenues: $20.0 billion (+13%) 1Q Earnings: $4.4 billion (-1%) Comments: Pharmaceutical sales were $9.8 billion in the quarter, up 19%. Domestic sales increased 10% and international sales were up 33%. Sales include the impact of Actelion Ltd. which contributed 7.6%, to worldwide operational sales growth. Remicade sales were down 17% to $1.4 billion in the quarter due to competition. Stelara sales were up 29% to $1.1 billion. Simponi sales were up 21% to $518 million....
